Lorenz’ weekly – Sketch and Google’s plus of performance

A massive read about “How Apple is giving design a bad name” was published on Fast Company last week. I admit I still had no time to read it, but I wanted to put it on the list anyway.

Netlix is building a really nice Sketch plugin to fetch data like images and text from simple JSON files and place it into your designs. I definitely will try it out as soon as the plugin is available. See a video of the plugin in action here.

Last week Apple launched a beautiful Apple Watch Dock which I’d like to get as a christmas gift.

What a fine conference website! The illustration work is really lovely. And yeah - parallax!

If you are a mobile app designer, have a look at Stitch. It’s a plugin you can automatically generate Framer interactions directly from Sketch. Awesome? Awesome!
